Hallo, I'm Joe! I recently traded New York for the Netherlands.

I've spent the last 16+ years working in digital content. First at TV stations in Vermont and New York, where I learned to publish fast and get things right under pressure. I then left the TV business to work at the New York State Comptroller's Office, where "good enough" wasn't an option. Along the way, I stopped thinking of accessibility as a checkbox and started seeing it as the thing that makes the web actually work for people.

In January 2026, my fiancée Alexandra and I packed up and moved to the Netherlands on the Dutch American Friendship Treaty (DAFT) visa. So here I am, cycling through the Randstad, still figuring out the rain, and helping businesses make their websites work for everyone.
