And my approach to teaching French is that it should be a communicative approach. That means that the goal is that you should be communicating, expressing yourself in the language. That is done by speaking from the beginning. Speaking and listening.

So for beginners or elementary level in French, I like to have a little more structure, maybe following books, if you’d like it. I have resources and materials to share with you. You should learn vocabulary, and basic phrases, grammatical structures. I also it is important to do homework at this point.

For intermediate/ advanced students, classes can be a little more dynamic. We can speak more. I think you should be starting to speak a lot at this point. We can analyze videos, articles and we can also do writing. But we can do writing, really, at any level.

Ultimately, classes are customized for every student, and we can work on what you want to work on. I love giving tips and tricks for getting French into your life, outside of your classroom. So, I’d love to share all of those with you.
